LB7: Lost another 1

Have about 500 kms on a new/used set of injectors and lost #3 on the way home from work tonight,This is the 3rd one I have changed out in a 2 week period.First was #8 than #5 and now #3 and getting pissed at this point but I knew the risk buying used, so...back in I go,What accually causes a +15 stuck injector?Is it internal in the body?Should have called LDS!!!

You installed used injectors? How used? Stock injectors? As someone who has had tons of issues with LB7 injectors I would NEVER install used injectors with out them being tested.

Balance rate of +15 can be very bad injector, cracked piston, bent rod etc.....

I would be Mad too, But Like others said.. I dont think I"d be buying used injectors.. Hell when I bought mine, I got them from a local auto store.. There were 2 or 3 I sent back, due me not liking the way they looked...

Getting faster everytime,Throwing the cores back in while I save for a new set.Still wondering how they can go from +-1 to +15 out of the blue.Will be calling lds for a new set after I save up again.

I got a set of cores I'll sell ya man. I pulled them because they were making noise , turns out I had a copper not sealing so I was hearing compression coming past the body :/ the balance rates were getting up there and it would crank a little long in the winter but I guarantee they would be good for awhile yet!!

Not really mad because I knew the risks,took a gamble and lost,Its happened the same way 3 times,+-1 and boom,+15 outa no were and perfect again after the swap,could something else be knocking them off?

That's what I am thinking as well,I cleaned as well as I could but we all know what kind of crap falls into them from the lines during removel,The crazy thing is my cores that im putting back in have amazing rates,0.08 on #8 and 0.31 on #5 so we'll see what #3 brings.Il be HAPPY HAPPY if this is the last 1 I swap for a little bit until I get my new knock off's.

There is a lot of junk that lives inside the hp lines. Most shops change out the lines for new ones or they have the originals bead blasted.

Well,il be digging in tonight to swap #3 out,All 3 injectors I have swapped out have been +15 and stuck shut(knock no smoke)What could be causing this?All 3 stuck shut shut,Wierd!Junk in the nozzle or body?

There is a lot of junk that lives inside the hp lines. Most shops change out the lines for new ones or they have the originals bead blasted.

Exactly what he said. The lines have to be incredibly.clean or crap falls from inside the line into the top of the injector body where the like hooks up.

Soak the lines in a cleaning solution, (heard some people use CLR) and then clean the insides out religiously

I soaked them in evaporust and they look new,incredible stuff,i was surgical clean when I installed but who knows what the last guy did.Oh well shit happens!

you guys can have him clean his lines all you want but if any shit fell in teh injectors (which is very likely) from the original owner when he removed his hard lines from those injectors, the OP SOL.

I think that's exactly whats happening,The injectors prob had crap fall in and im loosing them 1 at a time,CRAP,what a waste of money.could have bought remands from a vendor and prob will anyways but at least I have 2 sets of cores nowCRAP!!!

Doesn't help you much but I got it at Canadian tire,Well 3.5 hrs and im done with #3 injector swap and have a -1 again,all look great with 2 at +-1 and the rest are +-0...For today anywaysNow I can keep looking for my 475/stock piping if anyone has a line on some?!Im determined to bend a rod for an excuse to build
