First time post bare with me. Driving in the mountains and truck loss power. Would only hit about 1500 rpm. Then took off again. Set the cruise and would be fine then jump all over the place.
Aby ideas where to start

Give us some info on the truck, how many miles? Is the truck tuned or have any modifications? ect.

Have you changed out the fuel filter? any codes or check engine light?

Sorry 320000 miles intake exahust and chip. No check engine light. Only about 7000 on two fuel filters also have lift pump.

Also when acting up it sounds like an old dodge. Then goes back to normal.

What chip or tuner do you have? Have you tried putting the stock tune back on?

It could be your vanes sticking in the turbo, with that many miles on it I would check that. Do you have any gauges or a way to monitor boost?

Just to clarify, judging by the title you do have an LBZ correct? You posted in the LB7 section.

Ok then ignore checking the vanes because yours doesn't have that style turbo.

You posted in the correct place just had the wrong title.

Fill out your signature will all the details about your truck, that will help us help you.

Explain what you mean by "jump all over the place"

Ditch the edge. Plug everything in all stock and see if it's better. If not need to verify fuel supply pressure. Assuming it's 5-10psi. Next start with monitoring actual/desired rail pressure
