The converter stalls at about 2200 in high range ( depends on power level of engine ). It is only loose at launch and then it couples imediately after that so the turbo can go to work. The converter is custom built for me by Precision. I have not had time to find out what the stall is in low range yet. It is set up for a big charger but can be modified for stock charger.
This converter can not be compared to a SC 1057 because it has a different purpose. The 1057 is one of the best street converters and drag converters around but is not the greatest sled puller and wasn't designed to be.
The day of the one size fits all is coming to an end.
