Not if it's modified and/or tuned right. The lope comes from improper tuning setup or mechanical issues/defects.

ok guys i still need help. i havent had a whole lot of time to mess with it but i cant fix it. I tried messing with the pressure, FPRV current, removing fuel etc. I cant get rid of the lope. I can post a log of the pressure jumping all around. Its freaking annoying when im sitting at a red light. as soon as its off idle it runs great.

What did you do with the pressure? 4900 is kind of high for idle. Seems like if I keep them around 4600 they wont lope. Send your tune to me. PM me

I have an LLY here that lopes on the stock tune only in reverse and drive with the foot on the brake. Seems to have some sort of electrical gremlin.

Yeah mine only lopes in drive.

this statement suggests you will find the fix by adjusting your pulse table. Note how much your pulse is swinging around on your logs, when rpm is unstable.

Been fighting this for years.

There is an idle pulse table or 2 we don't have access to. Note how pulse swings wider than fuel mm3 suggests.
