Unfortunately I agree. Really bad that you cannot trust anyone these days. I am at the same point however neither seller is doing anything for me unless I send the pistons back, so I will likely end up running it. Will not see many miles however thats probably a null point now.

I would tear deeper into it like looking at rings and bearings. who knows how hurt those are. looks like the engine had it rough.

Heads can be confirmed by numbers Guy puts on them. He will tell you everything he did to them by the number he puts on the front head casting. I would not use this block period. You spent too much for a piece of crap for a engine.
