Feels like it too.
I haven't changed the tune in my truck in 3.5 years and haven't touched efi in over 2. Kinda lost....

Well I got this far. Says I need to update my bootblock but there are no files in the box below. I found the folder with the files in it but how do I get them over so I can do the update?

Thought my bootblock/firmware was old, does anyone know if you have to update incrementally to current, I have been watching/reading on EFILIve before the updated emissions software was released and have not found a definitive answer. I believe there is separate thread on EFI about the bootblock/firmware update?

"How to perform the initial update to boot block to V2.05.08:
IMPORTANT:
You only need to perform this boot block upgrade if your FlashScan device has boot block V2.04.xx.
You must install firmware V2.04.72 before you can upgrade FlashScan’s boot block to V2.05.08"

So basically if you have V2.05.08 or higher you just giv'r to the the most current.
Anything older you follow the steps in the pdf here:
https://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?20952-Upgrading-from-older-bootblock-firmware

Still working on mine......

Ok I got it.
You can't program the V2 bootblock or firmware if it's in deadpoll.

So thanks for the help guys.
I now have the latest and greatest.
Now to try and remember how to do the tuning side of things. My skills are sketchy at best from what I remember.:D

I'm not.
He bought a v2 and once he gets it working I am going to help him fine tune it enough to make it driveable using the tune you sent me as a base till he gets a chance to get it on a dyno.
He had it tuned in MT with his old setup and now has a built motor I believe so it doesn't work well without all the vvt stuff taken out.

IIRC back when H & S was getting in trouble by the epa there was talk by EFI that they were not going to allow US customers to make changes to the emissions systems and it was going to be included in a software update. I don't remember what ever came of that though.
I'll try and find the thread.....

There was talk of removing the ability like HPTUNERS did, but they took the stance of not taking away what we already had, but not allowing us any new ones. This is why US based customers do not see the emissions portions of tune files for LML's(or at least most don't).
