I'm getting ready to do Head studs/ gaskets on my 02 LB7. All of the forums that i read say that getting your heads inspected/checked before reinstall is worth every penny. Where is a good shop in the Portland, OR area that i could get this done?

There website isn't much but they know their stuff esp on the gasoline side. Give them a call and see if they do any diesel stuff, I am sure they can help you out esp if just want them inspected. It's a family owned company and I have known the owners son for quite awhile.

Bearing services in Portland is probably your best bet! I have a shop in central point but he was the closest for some special cummins stuff that I needed done and I'm sure he does a lot of duramax as well any machine shop I'm sure has done them, but he is VERY meticulous and has a machine for anything, and you can go right next door to deschuetes brewery lol
