just wanted to throw some information out their for you guys if anyone else ever has any problems like i did.

2013 i built my transmission in my truck and got it instantly tuned by Kory. Tunes are frican awesome and then one day i went and tried to back up to a trailer. It was nearly impossible to do so. my rpms would rev crazy and then revert back to idle while my foot was steady on the throttle. i instantly emailed kory and tell him whats going on, he messed with my tuning a bit on the lower end and it did help but it still was not right.

I drove the truck around for a bit in 2013 and put it away for the winter. Pulled it out 2014 and just wasnt happy what was going on with the truck, wasnt acting right so i made up a thread about it and asked for some help and alot of you guys stated that there is something seriously wrong because the computer was not seeing that their was something wrong. So now i took some data logs and sent it to kory again and he stated that their is nothing wrong with the tune and he did indeed send me a stock lb7 tune specifically for 2003. I put it in and it made no difference with my truck and told him that and he stated that it probably isnt anything on his end.

So i was determined to figure this all out and started going through my wiring harness looking for wire issues, put dielectric grease on every thing, looking for bent pins, literally spend hours and hours of trying to find something wrong. Then i started looking at sensors, replace my map sensor and maf sensor and it still didnt solve the issue. i tried replacing my dsp 5, un hooking the pins. Still nothing with trying to fix the truck, so i broke down and started bringing it to various shops because i just couldnt figure out what the hell was going on and it was bothering the heck out of me because i went to school for this type of work and i eventually want to start a diesel performance shop. Literally felt like a failure because i couldnt figure this issue out but just couldnt give up. Went to the local dealership, and some other local guys that said they could fix it...well no one could and i spent some money for guys trying to diagnose whats going on.

Early 2015 comes along and i contact kory again and i stated that i really need him too look into this, he said take a data log and i did. Well i also sent a video for him to make it a little easier for him to maybe help me and he stated that from what he can see the tune is not doing it but again had me try the stock lb7 and it still didnt work.

So i asked kory if he new anybody around me that could help me and told me to go to Evan, he will be able to help yea. I take off to see Evan (3.5 hours drive one way) and within 25 mins the guy figured out my truck. Thats all he did was put a stock lb7 tune in it but it was a different tune that Kory was sending me.

For some reason the tunes iw as recieving form kory were glitched or my truck wasnt liking it and Evan explained to me that this happens all the time.

Man o man was i frican frustrated with my life at that point because of all the time i had spent on trying to figure this out.

Well after talking to kory and explaining my frustration and annoying the hell of him for the past 2 years he still helped me out and coverd the new license i had to pay Evan for and he is going to re write my tunes off from the 2004 ecm tune that Evan hooked me up with. All this time it was just the tune but kory was doing the correct thing and telling me to revert to stock like i did but for some dumb reason my truck just didnt like what it was receiving. Lol my truck is now referred to as the UNICORN.

So here is to a big shout out to Kory for helping me out again and dealing with my B.S, even though it was a struggle, i still gained knowledge on how to diagnose these trucks a little better and met Evan who is also a hell of guy as well. Thanks again fellas!!!!!!:thumb: Would of still been chasing my tail if it was any other way.

NO issue man... I literally downloaded a tune from TIS2WEB for your truck and sent you the stock tune (Downloaded it using a dude named steves truck)... Sent you the stock tune and the issue still persisted. So i was like "Ok, this truck ran good before then all the sudden started doing this and a stock tune didnt fix it... truck has to have something wrong". I even took the stock tune once and pulled 30% TBIQ out (More than we pull for a stock zf6 truck) and it still did it.

Evan put a 2004 file into the truck from TuneFileDepot and voila, fixed. Things like this suck for everyone involved... I just didnt see why the TIS2WEB file didnt work, thats like putting it stock with a tech II and still having the issue.

LOL, anyways, thanks for being a stand up guy.... Your going to fall back in love with the truck... Lets just hope this isnt a "band-aid" to another issue and that history doesnt repeat itself.

Now im just hoping Evan comes out with some limitless tuna so I can send the problem trucks to him! LMAO!!!

Also shoutout to evan for good protocal
