Lonely in ND

Who else calls ND home?

I stayed in Watford but now that I brought my family I reside in Dickinson. I know there are a few members up here, just too far to go play with them. I'm lonely I miss my Vegas friends. This is like one of them Craigslist ads.

Pretty slow this last month. Last outfit I worked for (Big Country) had us building an 8 well pad w/treaters out by the four bears casino. We're supposed to have some more stuff coming u But who knows when. Not holding my breath,How bout you?

I like it as far as the people and the programs that are out here for my son to participate in....don't like the cold too much. Home is where my little family is:hug:

I don't work in oil directly, my work has changed with the slow down though. I live closer to parshall and we had a couple man camps and a huge rv park that was full with 1800$ a month rent for a pad. They're all pretty much empty now.

I think there's about one derrick up on this side of the river, it's unfortunate for a lot of people.

I lived in ND my whole life till 2008 when I moved to IL, KS, Canada, then back to KS. My family farms north west of Fargo an hour; about 30 minutes west of the MN boarder.

There's more to do and see around the fargo area if you guys want to take a trip.

My wife used to live in Casselton (just west of Fargo) while she went to college in Valley City and one of my best friends lives in Enderlin and works a 30k acre farm. ND is nice but if you want to have fun you've got to go to Detroit Lakes MN about 45 minutes east of Fargo. A lot of nice lakes and they have WeFest there in the summer!

Ahhhh....Good ol ND winter.... -21* and I didn't plug my pig in. Let's just say she was knocking and a shakin' but still fired up rather quick 5seconds.

I lost power in the middle of the night. Propane heater in my house snuffed out and the igniter didn't fire it back up when power came back. It was a bit chilly this morning. Truck slept better than me plugged in haha
