If I wanted to buy something online regardless of what it is I would need to see pics first or I wouldn't buy it period. This really seems sketchy that you would charge hundreds of dollars for dirt bike shocks and not show pics? I don't get that

1 new shock costs $800. I am selling all 5 used for $400 and including spare parts that I have acquired while using them. It is a deal. This isnt some junk shit you put on a dirt bike or duramax truck.

I still don't see a problem with someone wanting to see pics of used shocks he's considering spending his money on. If there's nothing wrong with them, what does it matter?

It's not like it's something electronic that can be majorly f*cked and still look perfect.

I understand that, but if the body is bashed or the shaft is bent, it probably isn't very cheap to get those replacement parts. That's why I would want pics, but I guess I'm a cheap ass that likes to know exactly what I'm spending my money on.

Yes but im a strait shooter im not trying to get rich. The bashed up ones are sitting in the corner and will not be included in the sale. Id give away the bashed up shocks RE suspension rebuilds them pretty cheap. The most I have spend is $100 and that was for a rebuild, revalve, new shaft (bent), and next day shipping from NC to MD.

I still don't see the big deal about the guy wanting a picture.
Also, if they are in such good condition, and all 5 are worth $2000 new, plus your throwing in extra parts but you are selling them for such a discounted price, I would be a little suspicious of a scam myself-not knowing you from Adam of course.

And yes I did read that book back in grade 12 - That's 12 which = all your fingers and thumbs plus 2 toes for those that need them to count that way.

how does he know you are a straight shooter? I would want pictures too doing business over the internet for security reasons, especially with used equipment. It may be a good deal, but $400 to a kid trying to buy shocks could be a lot of money to him. I like to see proof that the item for sale actually exists along with it's condition when it comes to private party internet transactions. Don't take any of that personally, I am just saying that is how I feel on this subject. :)
