Anyone notice lockup issues with the precision ML converter? Doing boosted 4wd launches I'm not seeting lockup until 4th.

Looks like I may need the magic box...

Seems to do it in both tow haul and normal. Sometimes it hits right, but most of the time it doesn't lockup until 4th

I didn't think I would have this issue with the ml. Thought it was mostly high stall converters

My ML locks up fine. Maybe you need to talk to Mike before you buy a lock up controller.

It has to do with power output of the motor and turbine speed . Just cause it locks in one truck , doesn't necessarily mean it will do it in another , they might be makin more power than you lol

No, I have the first one that Ben released. It's has two features lock and force unlock.

Prolly the same as mine, auto feature works sometimes and sometimes it just throws it into limp mode.

The 6 speeds seem to have a fair bit of trouble locking up as the power grows , but a few simple tests can check to make sure the converter is stalling at the right speed , brake stall the truck up and see what rpm its pulling through the brakes .

I don't want to speak for anyone but the way I read the funks post was if he gets Bens new controller his lockup issues will be solved.
