I bought the box used from a member here a few weeks ago. I love it! But this morning I popped a P2138. I reset it and nothing came back yet. Any ideas on this?

Thanks!!
Wally

Thanks. Yep it's the 6 speed BT box. My truck flashed an Engine Power Reduced message at me this morning, which prompted me checking codes. Most connections are soldered, but I did use tap ins on the TPS and ground to the BCM.

It's the first hiccup since I installed a few weeks ago. I'm away from home on business until Sunday, so I can't do much right now.

Interesting. Keeps throwing it. Box not coming on either. I'd better check fuse and connections when I get home

Start the truck and before I make it a block or so, it throws. I did not try to arm. Last time I noticed no light, so I tried to arm and nothing happened.

Temps are so low lately, that the trans would be too cold to arm even if I tried

Uh oh. Now it's every time that I stop. I made it through my appointments tonight with one hand on the wheel and one on the clear dtc codes button :thumb: hope to make it home.

I decided to try for home tonight instead of tomorrow. Each stop it limped. Anything more than light throttle it limped. At least I'm home. Hopefully I can find something tomorrow.

Glad you got it fixed!

Sorry I didnt see this until now, I was away all weekend.

9 times out of 10, its wiring issues with these modules. I always tell people to solder if possible.
