Bump, gona go out today to play with it again, need some more ideas!

Gona leave the batters undone for an hour first.
What all fuses should I pull out? (seamed that every time I had radio/radio amp out it would lose PCM connection half way thru?)

Leave driver door open.

What else?

Did you go to the EFI forum yet?
i did, looked around and everyone said the same things as previosuly posted here.

so i started a new thread, let them know what i have already tried and waiting for hopefully an EFI-Live guru to chime in on something that just might work lol

i did that and it kept freezing at like 90k loaded.
ended up pulling the radion, radion amp, info fuse, pulled the raidio head unit completely out (unhooked the wire harrnes at the stock/factory location) un-hooked the batteries for 45min, hooked them back up with a charger on them and BAM she worked lol

That's going to be a pain if you have to do that everytime to flash it :roflmao:

Lol I Got it down quick now, pull the 3 fuses out & pull the radio & she works great lol now it only take 5 minutes, just had to find this Lilly's sweet secrete to crack her panties open ;)

I'm glad you got it figured out Trevor. EFI can be frustrating when it is all new. How are you liking the tunes?

Ever since I updated on may 22 to the newest release, I have to use v8 to load tunes. I was still using v7.5

On a side note now I can't log trucks. Need to figure out why it won't allow me to. Anyone else have this problem? It tells me I need to go to properties an hit logging tab, and change the scan options. (stream fast, stream slow, dynamic etc) tried them all and still will not allow to display PIDS when I hit yellow button. Get the same message

bench flash is the only way ive been able to successfully flash LLY's with EFILive V8. V7 works fine in the truck.

I am still having some troubles getting my wife's lly to flash. The best I have been able to do to get it to flash is to pull the normal fuses i.e. radio, amp, info and intpark fuse. sometimes, this will work but there are times when I have to unplug the bottom ECM connector to get it to get past the bootloader issue. I've tried disconnecting the batteries, starting the truck, etc. to try to get it to go through but this is the best I've been able to do so far. I've updated EFI to the latest software but it's still difficult. I haven't tried using V8 yet. Gonna give this a try the next time.
