Hi everyone,

Figured i would try and get some opinions, i have a friend with a lly and he ordered efi tunes from rob at atp, basically long story short we have been trying from about 9 tonight till now with no results. I have tried to flash in stock tune, and his new dsp5 tune neither work. he drove the truck to my place, i plugged in laptop and have had error messages. i have updated all software and firmware. now the truck will not start at all, we pulled fuses and also tried boosting batteries. here is what i get while flashing

Executing: C:\Program Files\EFILive\V8\Config\E60_F.obj
Virtual Machine Started
Script Loaded
Script Verified
Executing: Boot Loader...
Please: Wait...
Script exited with code $0101: No data received

To say the least we are stumped and hope we haven't blown ecm. Any input would be great truck is at my house not running. :(:(:(:(

That only happens to me when I park in the middle of the driveway. Like RPM said, I disconnect the batteries for a while and ground the positive cables to the neg terminal to clear any lingering voltage. Works and I am able to get through the sequence again. Done this about five times now. Seems to be voltage changes that cause it, e.g. me forgetting to unplug or power something off.

Make sure you have the latest May 10th release and installed as well as the updated firmware for your V2.

I tested the new version 206 as well as the firmware for EFI-Live earlier this week and I did not have any issues with the LLY flash.

Good Luck

So if i'm up to date. My my firmware says version 2.07.29 may 11 2012, and bootblock is version 2.07.04 dec 12 2011. Is that right?

I can't get mine either, keeps saying boot loader fail, returned back to normal operation. Tried door open, radio fuse out, un hooked batteries and all. What to do next?
