I like the interior of the lmls never Towed with one yet.. But I'm kinda nitch area with what I do

Ive towed 10.5k with mine a couple times and over a couple pretty good grades and I live it. the saying holds true that you can forget the trailer behind you. with my tuning and it will hold 5th gear up any hill it seems on the freeway as long as its not a winding road with corners. cruise set at 67 mph 5th gear its an animal. much better then my LLY.

The trailer is ~7200lbs empty I can run 68 in 6th on anything less than 5% grade.. Load is 9000lbs and 10' tall from the deck up 13' over all height, grossing ~25,000lbs, outside stupid high sails I can run 5th @26,000 on anything less than 6% grades.. Granted truck has dynos more HP/tq at the tires than lml makes at the Crank.

What gears does that have? the tune I'm running is pretty healthy. I'm not even pushing it the rail pressure was only running 19K (max is 29,xxx) towing up this grade. so it wasn't even working that hard.

Stock 3.73 with 225/70/19.5(32") tires. Will be dropping to 4.10s help running 55-60 speeds in hills in 5th. engine sweet spot is 1900-2300.
On flat ground truck while cruising at 62mph in 5th @~1700rpm ambient temps 85-87f
ect190
eot 220
egts 850
tot 165
10-15psi boost.
I increase to 70mph.. Everything thing but transmission temps go up. biggest problem is oil temp will push 240°, and I have cooked a piston to failure with oil temp and less power

I'm running 1750 pulse tune on lmm which is probably code to a 1900-2000 pulse at 26,000psi rail on a lly

Yeah I have often thought about the air to oil cooler for the engine oil. if I towed more I would already have it done.

Wow. Lots of good info here. Appreciate it.

Ive heard good things about LML but just wanted to make sure it was true. Cant believe anything on other sites.

I dont plan on modding it like yall. I got kids, a wife, house, and I dont build bad ass trannies for a living ( :D ) so not spending all that coin. Got a million other projects anyways. I do however want a tune and delete. Dont need that crap for sure.

What mpg you getting with LML's tuned and deleted or stock? Lifted or stock? Tire size? Thanks!

Worst I see from mine 16.5 and I drive it pretty hard. Back tires show that. On the freeway it will see 21.5 @ 70-75

And for what I consider cheap compared to all the others I've seen!

A legit 1600-1800rpm stall Tc would have the truck moving and well into 2nd gear before this stock one decided to move.. The 99 C3500hd I put a LBZ had said Tc stall.. It will beat my lmm off the line at the same weight with less HP
