thats what i am trying to figure out.
head's flow the same rods and pistons are the same?
idk just curious. have both and just keep looking at them.

Turbo is a different part number, IIRC, exducer dia is a little smaller.

Rumor had it that the cyl head P/N is different and has a thicker bottom to resist head gasket leaks. I can't verify that.

Mcrat mentioned the possibility of the head having a thincker bottom to resist head gasket leaks. This is the only advantage I know of that would push me towards the LMM. One would probably do just as well as the other.

so will LMM heads work on a LBZ? i hope so the guy insisted they would when i purchaced them and now they have all new parts in them ready to be instaled in a week or so can anyone verify if they will or not please thanks guys!!!!

The LMM was designed to handle more heat soak from the factory bc of the DPF regeneration process so I vote LMM over the LBZ bc added hp equal excess heat over stock............
