Ole boy in a lifted GMC LB7 on 35s ran dead nuts even with my LMM today. Dude wouldn't even admit to having a built trans lol. Keep in mind my truck runs 8.0s all day long. But man you gotta love a good running LB7.

the 475 will light a bit quicker, makes really cool whistely noises and seems to bring HP in at lower rpm range but the 480 helps drive that engine better in the upper RPM ranges i found

Humm, I like whistlely sounds! So when looking at kits a "billet s745" is that referring to a billet compressor wheel or like race cover?

Im with James, my truck was the most fun with a GT4202R over the stocker. The setup I have now has way more potential but at this point I don't know as I will ever get the engine built, so there kinda a waste:rofl:

Comp wheel... I think there a waste in a street setup as an atmosphere charger personally. Stock fuel won't be able to push one hard enough to see a gain with the billet wheel. IMOP

i have no answer on the billet wheel 475. i would look at the map and flow numbers of it and compare it to the s480, then make your decision. i have contemplated throwing a billet wheel in the 480 as Coker (Russ) had done that on his 80 over 64 and said it helped power come on a bit sooner but honestly, it drives so well, i dont wanna mess with it. yellowchevy (another damn Russ :roflmao:) has been pushing me to put the stock wheel back in the stock charger to see what kind of differences i see but again, it drives so well :D.

i really wish i had a VGT setup. i would be all over a 68mm stage2r and a 483 on top of it. :happy2:

I'm thinking a s475 will fit the bill nicely! Bets on how long my motor will last?:roflmao:

Stickers gain more power.:thumb::roflmao:

Just buy one of each then you have the best of both worlds! It does get a bit pricey outfitting multiple diesel trucks with all the engine mods, turbos, trans, fuel systems. A guy has to do what they have to do. Just take it easy on the sheep Mike lol!
