LMM Ujoint Help, 1480-1485 questions.

I think all the ones with that part number are nickel plated

McMaster Carr part number for snap rings is

99142A520

Definitely need to use these rings on the slip yoke side when using 1480's in place of 1485's. Definitely use the Spicer's in the driveshaft though. The caps would have to be way to tight to get the regular Spicer snap rings in. These worked perfectly.

God I love McMaster Carr! They are an hour away and put Grainger to shame.

Since you ordered 25 of them... can I buy a few and a padded envelope/stamp? I'm sure they're better then my sanded down ones, lol.

Harbin you confirmed those mcmaster numbers are the ones? ordering a pack now
