Hi Guys, i'm looking for a big single or twin on my lmm.
I will stay stock fuel for now, only a lift pump.

I'm towing a 10 000bs fifth wheel about 10 times a year.

I'm driving 25 miles a days for work in a small road at 50mph.

Wanna try sled pulling next summer.

-Twin with 475 over stock, lower egt, spool quickly but may be need to build engine ?

-Single S369sxe or S472 or DPstg2r ??? need to run high rpm and higher egt with the fifth wheel.

Thanks for suggest me.

Trans built? Can't beat twins for towing, tuning will determine whether you need a built engine or not. Not sure what class you would be able to run with the twins sled pulling though.

TX of course
Pulling is going to be the deciding factor. If you just want to go pulling and have fun pick whatever. Now if you want to be competitive that's differant. Twins puts you in the open class most of the time and you would be up against dedicated pulling trucks. Even with 369 you could be up against guys making 800hp.

My LMM was a blast with the 475 over stock. It was a regular cab and always finished in the top 3 trucks at local "street" class pulls.

Here in quebec Canada everybody are in the same class for pulling, only weight class.

Of course the trans will be built in the same time.

i think running around 650hp with twin could be safe with stock bottom.

Then your good, but I would really think out your future goals for the truck. Twinning over the stocker is only good for 750hp. Which is what you could do with a single VVT 68R or modded 369.

I like my 369 sxe. I know another guy Crenshaw on here has a 369 and tows 10k with it and says it tows great. I don’t tow quite that heavy but it’s great towing for me also. Can easily get u to that 700hp mark and can compound off it later if you build the motor.

That's what i'm thinking too, begining with a S369 and compound later

Somes people said that i will need to run in 5th gear when i will tow with a big single to stay in the peak at 2000pm.

**** I did that with my vgt anyways lol. Why lug it around 1600? My fuel economy was no better lugging it like that as my rail was almost maxed. Going 65 towing I’ve left both setups in 5th.
