LMM trans OS

I did a buddy a favor recently and adjusted his TCM tune for larger tires. He has an LMM like mine. The only differences being he's a GMC and stock 17" wheels. While I was doing this, he mentioned that the dealer recently put in a TCM software update. I looked and sure enough, his software is different than mine and my other LMM buddy's.

My OS is 25836826 and level is cal level 8P6
His OS is 24256580 and level is cal level 8P7

I wasn't aware of any new update, so my question is whether I should be looking for an update for my truck or leave it the hell alone :roflmao:

FWIW I did SEARCH and found nothing on this.

Only thing I've found with 24256580 in it on GM's TIS website pertains to an A46 TCM.

don't know what to tell you. Here's his trans tune that I pulled.

Yes that matches what I found on GM's site. Not sure what SPI Overclock is or what OBD issue they had was.

he had no issue and no complaint. When he was in for leaking tranny line warranty repair, they told him there there was a software update for his truck, and put it in.
