I was pulling the sled with my regular cab LMM saturday night and I noticed my truck stays at 210. Is the thermostat that hot in these, or do I have other problems. It was about 80 outside. IAT said 140 to 150. I HAVE to change that too. It is getting rediculously hot under that hood. :(

I hit hero gear and couldn't pull it.

I did better in the modified class. I stuck it in a gear I could pull but still didn't spin hard at the end.

If you hook it up to EFILive and log ECT, I bet you will see it is closer to 185-190.

Mine runs 210 alot and it shows in logs and from the scangauge....

I just saw your other post.. it's amazing the LBZ's run cooler! Mine likes 185 - 192 ish cruising at 70 or 80 mph on a hot day. (Thats efilive logging figures - my temp gauge seems to always stick at 200 degrees - even if its 190 or 210, the thing doesn't MOVE).

Maybe you can see if the part numbers for the thermostats are different??? Switch one out if it looks like the same housing...

Must just be the guage. I just can't get the guage to go below 210. The under hood temps are rediculous. If the thermostats are the same, then I will look other places. I just went back and looked at my Scan and it says 180-190..... that makes me feel a LOT better. Thanks guys. I know 210 was hotter than I thought it should be.... but that is what the guage reads all the time.
