LMM Stereo, can I put a stock lmm 6 disc, in place of a stock lmm single disc?

My truck is a 08 LT1 package, the truck the 6 disc came out of is a 07.5 LT1 package. It has a 6 disc stock, mine is single, can I just swap it straight across?

I think you have to have someone with a Tech II relearn the VIN in it after you have it installed. If the truck it came from also had Bose, it might need more stuff done to it. I'm by no means an expert though.

Yehh Mike all you need to do is plug it up and bolt it in. The Tech II will have to learn the VIN to it though.
