I usually do a build log for any vehicles I build, whether they are build from scratch or restoration/upgrade projects etc. Well, lets just say the used LMM I bought has basically become a restoration/upgrade project. It has all the common issues, cranked torsion bars for leveling and bad angles, leaky lines, flex loom falling apart, interior issues, non working window switches, TPMS sensors not working, stuff rattling when you hit bumps, bad glow plug, etc etc........but it runs and shifts good :) I will be doing a lot of upgrades as well like transmission lines, power steering lines, possible lift kit, LML front end conversion, restoring interior flaws, etc.

I want to start a build log somewhere and I cannot decide on a site that will let me post enough pictures and has an area to start a build log. I already have a lot of the work done and need to get it out on a forum before it is too much work and relying on memory.

So, I have a couple questions.

1) Will I be able to get enough pictures on here to complete the build log? I do resize them to be 1280*1024 so they are not too big.

2) I do not see a category for build logs or members rides etc. Where would I put it?

This forum seems to be good and has less spam everywhere and I stumbled on a post that makes it seem like it is more about content and community than blasting you with adds etc. Some of the other sites actually cause the browsers to hang with all the BS sometimes. I just want to make sure there is a good spot and enough room for all the pictures.

Thanks!

I like to use the site (this site) for hosting because the pictures never die and uploading to another site and linking is way too time consuming. Ever go read a thread your interested in and all the pictures are dead and won't open? That basically renders the thread wasted space.
I see there is a meter in the upload window. Maybe I can get an estimate once I upload one.
I do not see an obvious choice area for starting a build log though, so I am curious for a suggestion.

Smartest thing to do is use Photbucket for the pics and link to here. The pics on Photobucket dont "disappear" unless you make it happen.

The 40mb here doesnt last long if you dont reduce pic size.

I dont understand why you need to keep a "log" of basic repairs on your truck, but whatever.
