That's a good-looking picture but can I take the converter with the motor since it is locked up I can't get to all the bolts

Correct..
It might be simpler to pull the transmission out. Then pull the engine.. TC ads 6-8" of length to the engine which you only have ~2-3" to work with.
TC has to be removed so the lower 2 bolts that hold the upper oil pan to the back plate..

I'd torch the flexplate around the bolt holes once out, To remove the TC.

One question is it locked in both directions?

Just curious maybe I missed it but have you removed the glow plugs yet just to make sure it's not hydro locked?

I have it looking like that pic. Now pulling it tomarrow will sell core for 1500. It did break loose trying to take fan off

I was talking to her when it locked up. It sounded bad loud knocking but hopefully tomorrow I'll know more
