Working on a 07.5 dmax, tuned DPF deleted, etc. truck came in running very rough, diesel knocking, chugging at idle, spit out bunch of codes, one being P0336 and also p0107,p0047,p0098,p0301. got into diagnosing it, injector balance rates at excessively high, noticed engine RPM very erratic. immediate thought is reluctor wheel. removed crank sensor, inspected wheel, no play in wheel found(used screwdriver to see if any play in wheel), swapped sensor with another one and problem still there. Tested all wiring for crank and cam position sensor from sensors to ecu and all wiring checks out good .7ohms resistence. based on experience thats good.

Any thoughts out there guys??? i'm lost now. lol

If you are able to do a compression test, that would really help. Should be around 400 psi.
