Lmm feels weak....

Alright so i got my tunes and exhaust on... Dsp5 and autocal from Rob... Tans safe tunes. The truck just feels real weak to me... My lb7 felt way stronger to me... It feels ok in 1&2 but kinda falls out after that.... I did the fprv shim today gonna get a new fuel filter and air filter and clean my maf this week. Any other ideas... I did some data logging and sent to ATP.... No real results maid everything looked good my rail pressure dropped a little bit not bad. It doesn't even make much difference which tune I am in....they all feel almost the same.... Any thoughts

Make sure dsp switch is working correctly. It happened to me the voltage did not change more than .10 of a volt between tunes

Yeah I checked that it's workin.... Changed volts and switches tunes as I checked it on my autocal

Trans go Jr, lift pump, built transmission tuning and start saving money for the inevitable full build :angel: Trying to cram 5 tunes in Trans safe tuning (100 -125hp or less) doesn't leave a lot of room to feel the change seat of the pants IMO That said you should feel a decent bump in power from 1 to 5, if not theres other issues.

Yeah, the trans safe tunes are more than disappointing. Blow your c1's out get some max effort tunes then you'll like it for a day or two, then it's time for a turbo and more fuel.

I can tell a big difference in seat of the pants feeling between my lly and lmm. Same hp tune the lly feels like an animal compared to the lmm.( this was with the stock turbo on the lly) In my case I believe it's the built trans and torque converter in the lly getting more power to the ground. I don't like the stock converter in my lmm. Just seems very loose.

Yeah.... I had my lb7 tuned at Georgia diesel back when they were around.... Tunes were actually really nice!!! And the high hp tune was probably not trans safe on 4&5 but was stout as crap is 1-3 I'm guessing that this truck is gonna be different.... Oh well gonna clean maf and fuel filter and not even worry about it until trans starts poopin out on its own!!!

I had a 160hp tune on mine from
Kory and I didn't think it was all that compared to my lly that Manfred tuned. Stock vs stock the lmm has more ass imop

My LMM flat hauls ass. I haven't found another LMM or stockish LML that an run with it, guess that's why the trans came out at 40k with a tow tune, but my LLY pulled the ass off my LMM on bottom end

I agree with this guy^^^. With Identical mods (Stock fuel, turbo) the LMM will trounce my LLY. Now as my truck currently sits I'm not to worried

My lmm did a 13.62 on a 150hp tune with stock trans. I haven't taken it to the track yet with my built trans and max effort. 13.62 is pretty quick on stock trans I feel like. It never limped once either
