lmm ecm reprogram recall?

i recieved a recall notice to bring in my truck 08, lmm, so i called the dealership to see what it was, they told me it was a ECM re-program to update, any one else get this one

Depends on how nice they are with people running tuners, I'd be up front with them (on the phone of course) and go from there. Tell them you have a "tuner" and you you put it back to stock before you bring it in.

O start looking for a new un tuned ecm and have them reflash that one, then pull it back out when there done and have a fresh stock ecm...

When they flash it, they are gonna be flashing in a new stock tune (similar to what you do with efilive)

or sense you have efi you could always get the os from one of the members here and do a full flash. I would ether do that or get a second ecm like mike said

Bigger??? it dont matter, if its a change to cal, the speedo, or a full out EGR, DPF, Bigger turbo, bigger injectors, whatever, there still gonna see it as unlocking the ECM....

Ya, just get a second ECM from them, which should come with the latest programming and put it in whenever you need to go to the dealer.

just to come in, so they could flash in the upgrade, he siad it was a peramiter change of some sort, hell if we can find out what they are changing, we could just add it in our tune, right?
