How I update the V2?

Start by having the newest version 7.5 and 8. Go into start>efilive>7.5>EFILive firmware programmer. Click the "..." button and there should be a firmware file in that directory. Upgrade V2.

On the V2 there will be an option to upgrade boot block somewhere in the menu's. After thats done go into Start>EFILive>v8>EFILive HAPI. You'll see the icon that looks like a V2 on the bottom right of your screen. Open it and click on F6:Firmware. Then upgrade until you have the newest version firmware and bootblock.

i had no idea what i was getting myself into last night...it took me almost 6 hours to get it up and running!! just about gave up, move files here move files there....thanks Rob for answering my questions and pointing me in the right direction,and obviously the bad ass tuning:hug: thanks to matt larson for some useful help also.....its way worth it in the end:happy2:

Where did you mount your switch?

the panel below the steering wheel, it pops off very easy, to the left of the steering wheel about left knee height, kind of hides it.....

Where did you mount your switch?

On the LMM's I have put them in 2 places so far. On a 2WD we made a brushed aluminum panel that matched the dash trim and put it in the small cubby by the headlight switch. The others have mounted it to the left of the steering wheel on the small horizontal ledge that's there.

I believe so Larry. Open the "Scan and Tune" icon and it should be a automated process..

I've just posted in the other thread you've got going. It depends on what firmware/bootblock your running - only the latest stuff is auto update.
