so just tuned a truck 08 lmm had the base tune built a dsp 5 loaded it in wouldnt switch i connected the scan tool to watch voltage an it say 4.99v and yes to dsp2???? wtf it says no dsp 5 but it has dsp 2???? any ideas anyone need this fixed asap

just to clarify, you have the signal in pin52 and ground in pin54 right? Also, they should be already but look into the custom os parameters and make sure the voltages are staged correctly and also that you have "hardwired" selected. Hope this helps some
Yes pins are correct as are the voltages first thing I checked ?? I'll double check the hardwire setting
Actual I thought pin 46? Was the dsp5 signal ha to look at the tutorial on efi live again that's were I referreced the pin locations

come on guys everything checks good wtf???? pins are right an are in all the way cuase reading somethin other wise i wouldnt get a voltage reading??
also im not seeing a setting for hardwire dont think there is one as serial isnt a option for lbz-lmm trucks is that correct

Dont have efilive here, but correct hardwire is only option on lb7/lly as of now. If im not mistaken reading 4.99 volts..it will say that if not reading also---it did this when i had the bad switch if i remember right. cause 1-4 are switch voltages and over 4 is as though its turned off (engine operation)
so im pretty sure the switch is bad i omhed across the resitors and two of them give me a reading no mater what postion the switch is in and the other three never give me anything at any postion? sound like its bad to you guys?
Sounds like the symptoms mine had, changed switch and voila it was fixed. Pm me where you buy your switches
New switch did the trick :thumb: an there from efi live the one I had troubles with was hand made but after some further testing of the switch I took out it shouldn't be bad IMO but it didn't work so something is up with it
on a seperate note this truck has II Twins the ones im selling in the garage sale thread.... i turn off his overboost code as you cant set the table high enough to not throw the code truck hits 55psi 57ish on spikes so i turned it off an now how the hell do i stop the reduced engine power crap when it boosts up on his hot tune? it doesn't kick a code just dings says engine power reduced thats it just annoying as hell just curious how i go about killing that??
YA lol just read that again oops the one i got is from socal i believe the bad one was hand made but like i said i tested it out of the truck seems to be ok? also mike anything to add on that question i just posted?
