LMM: LMM 68stg2R high EGTs, possibly converter?

i did a lag test with the 68 on 60% over injectors. you can make it spool faster than a stocker when under the same conditions, it just takes some work in the tune. Steve and i put a ton of time figuring out the tuning on that charger and just where it likes to be. it can be picky from what ive seen.

1100 degrees at 1/2 throttle doesnt sound off to me but it also depends on how big of tune that is. you might be able to change that some but not a whole lot.

Well after I opened my big mouth I went back and looked and couldn't find the 68. The 3794stg2 was faster then the stocker to 20psi.

I should clarify my opinion they are slower to start building boost, but once they start it comes on faster. Thats lag to me. All my logs show it took longer for the maf to alow full fueling over the stocker and that on the 3794stg2 not the 68.

I looked too and saw the screenshot of the log Mark posted, and he didn't exactly follow the parameters of the test. I'm not sure how much slower it would have been, but it would have been slower than what he showed.

Don't worry, you were right. Stock LMM charger spools instantly. The 68R is a little slower till you get on top of it.
