Most of the guys that have been calling in are towers and the occasion hotrodder but 85% are towing with them for a living. Long duty cycles at full power is hard on everything but these aren't fairing as good as some of the earlier trucks did. I have a bunch of customers with 500k+ on their trucks before they have any major issues. Had one a couple months ago have an lly pop a piston at 800k and he was impressed it lived that long because the only thing it does is tow heavy 24/7. The heavy emissions control products on them seem to be having an affect on longevity.

Tooo much heat....

I freaked out when I saw that my lmm idled at 800 in regen...

You can regen at idle??? Sitting still? Im assuming u are forceing regen?

Nope, it woud continue to regen as I pulled up to stop lights. You could tell not only from the EGT gauge but from the elevated idle and the terrible smell of raw diesel coming thru my air conditioning vents...

I think most of the dodges are either towing with a small tune, or towing stock with large tires. Ours has about 20k on it and haul the pull truck on it.

My LML was one of the "bad motor" trucks. Crankshaft broke with only 38k on it, rarely ever tow with it too. Just a daily driver.

We had a 2015 come through the dealer via a dealer trade that had 270 miles on it and the turbo went. Customer got a new motor

I just bought new LML crank that's been keyed from DHD.. For my LMM that broke a crank in August.
I get 12-18 months out of it.. I'll be alot better off.. That's 100-180k easy in milage

I went lml crank also and I better get more than only 100 000 miles out of it or I'm going to be pissed. He'll if I don't get double that I'll be pissed.

100k miles was ~9 months this year...
We know aftermarket balance is alot better then OEM.. I need solid 12 months minimum to get ontop of things..
