Just wanted to give my impressions of the EFI Live DPF Delete and my upgraded Mike L Transmission. I installed the EFI live initially without the delete. It ran a lot better then stock for sure. I then installed the EFI Live delete with AD165, Beans Sump and 4" Exhaust. Now I can say this changed my truck into a totally different animal. It was fun to drive, very responsive and a lot of power. My last and most important upgrade was the Mike L Transmission with the R TC. According to Mike, my C3 clutches were already to a point of possible limp. I never raced and never had it on the High race tune at that point. After the trans upgrade the truck again was even more responsive and very fast out of the hole. Just want to thank Mike for all his support and have to say I wouldn't go anywhere else!! :thumb:

Nice. Is the AD165 supposed to help keep the CP4 alive? I installed EFI on my father-in-laws LML and am a little nervous from hearing about the failures of the factory pumps.

On the race tune you will require a lift pump. Require more fuel.

Mike is the MAN!! He also took great care of me when I was looking at building mine and treated me like family when I made the drive to have him build it! Has always had time for me even to just bs ever since too! Truly a good, genuine person both professionally and personally!

Consensus is 500 - 550 for awhile. There are quite a few people out there that have been running 200hp tunes for quite sometime. Probably running on borrowed time.

Call him. A cig in one hand and sheep fur in the other makes it hard for him to type. Atleast with a phone he can hold it with his shoulder :D lol

Is it better to call the shop or his cell? I have left 2 messages at the shop one today and one over a week ago but haven't heard back from him.

Mike, does regular atf help longevity? ie 20 wt. Or is the low vis only thing you recommend? What about non synthetic?

Depends on the truck and the usage. Most performance clutches are designed for Dex/Merc. Problem with this fluid is if it get real hot, the addative package is gone. Fluid is shot.
Transmissions without solenoids like thicker fluids ( high hp ) like the turbo 400's. Transmissions with solenoids will like thinner fluids as the solenoids work quicker. I am not a fluid expert but I would run Citgo quatrasyn in everything. Clutch manufacturers don't do much testing with different fluids so we are on our own. I like synthetic fluids but, I don't know if their addative package will do what I want. Certain synthetic fluids will limp a trans. We found this out with Amsoil universal atf. They quickly came out with Torque Drive and it was much better. How good is it? Don't know. I do know what Citgo does. Is there another synthetic fluid as good? maybe. Mobile would be the one. But I haven't tested it yet.

Mike do you have any thoughts on Schaeffers All-Trans supreme?

What did you get mike to do? What converter you go with? You do just clutches and the new revtec spring kit or are you running a pressure box from Ben? I'm in the process of figuring out which way to go with mine and I'm looking for insight from others who have built theirs. I spoke with Mike earlier his week and he told me to call George at Suncoast, I'm just waiting to hear back from him to see what he is gonna put together for me...
