Fk your 68rfe :roflmao:

On a serious note I still like the new rams over the new chevy, but if I was strictly towing the duramax Allison is hard to beat

Jake I went from a 4th gen Cummins G56 truck, to a Denali LML, and back to an LBZ. I was very happy with both of the new trucks. The LML with Tony's tunes and deletes was an absolute monster for having tuning and exhaust as the only mods. As a daily driver that towed occassionally the Duramax was a far better choice. If the truck will be hooked to a trailer more often than not then the Cummins can't be beat.
I finally came to the conclusion that for my personal use I needed an older truck. I think that happened somewhere around the time I pinstriped my brand new $60k truck in the elk woods. The new trucks are VERY nice though. I just couldnt justify it personally. I need a truck to be a truck, not a street queen. It was too much money to be used as a work truck/hunting rig.

PS...the Ram auto trans offerings are junk. I won't own another Cummins unless it's manual or someone else already paid the bill to get that auto fully built.

You must not have much experience with tuned 68rfes? Stock there junk and there not built for power either but stock tuned and deleted trucks there awesome Imo have 3 of them none have skipped a beat and 2 pull heavy and have 100+hp tunes our Allison couldn't live with a damn 50hp tune lol 5 speeds anyways  but our dmax has been round the world a few times and is still favorite dd motor.

Anyways I ordered a 16 couple weeks back so guess I'll make the switch not committed to anything with the order but the wife seems set on making the switch I have gone back and forth but ultimately it's going to her rig.....:D

Ive also thought just sell my damn lb7 and keep the mega and get the 16 lol 2nd Gen swap comp 68 and have a fun 700hp truck that won't shit a crank or rod out the block :roflmao:

Dodge is just a Dodge. I had a 1000rwhp/1801ftlbs 2007 5.9 . Sure I ran like a bat out of hell but after $1500 in steering upgrades , $700 billet ball joints etc it still drive like shit as all dodges do.

Yes I have pics and dyno sheets etc so I'm not just making it up. Have a 2004 CCLB 4x4 LB7 with low miles and love it over the Dodge. Once I can sink $10k in mods in it I'll be way happier .

My cousin has made a good living off dodges out here in the country at his mechanic shop and engine building shop. Always several in the shop needing front end work or a hole burned up. Farmers tear them up faster than he can fix them.
