Harnesses all done and ECM's/EFI Live tuning stuff on the way back from Kid Turbo.
If everything goes right we'll have time to fire them up on the stands while I'm fixing some clearance issues in the engine hatch

3" outer pipes got a little crowded at the turbo flanges and needed to be relieved

LBZ fuels rails didn't line up with the LML clamshell mount holes on the left side but a thin stainless plate allowed room for new holes without lifting the rail too high for the injector lines and one mounting post had to be relieved for the line coming from the inj pump

Still trying to wrap this thing up, work keeps getting in the way.
Did get the transom holes and starting to dry fit the engines and finish mounts.

Got enough room to mount the heat exchanger up front or down under the engines and keep the intercoolers off to the side and low.

Hurry up Hawk, I need to squeeze something into that shop... :spit:

Those engines look great. I'm done with measuring and mock up, now trying to get Will to take on some of the bilge work for me. So will be rolling down there soon as your ready to hit the water.

What's the name of the primer you used on everything? I have drives disassembled and being sand blasted then getting painted black. Looking for a good anti-oxidation base to tell my paint guys.

I like zinc chromate but I used awl grip 545 primer on the drives. The top coat with that system is awesome but sags and runs easy and can't be repaired so if you don't like it you have to sand it off and start over. But it's a very tough finish.
The transmissions go way deeper into the gimbels than I thought, I have a lot more forward engine room than I thought, which is great.
Will is off racing a lot so the boat may be there a while.
Anyway I guess it'll come together at some point.

You try using just the silicone clear coating of prop speed yet? I use it without the etching primer on outboards to avoid anti fouling paint, works great and is clear so its hard to even tell its there...

After reading all fifteen pages of this thread , I have come to the conclusion there are a lot of rich MFers on this forum.
