Nice getting this 2011 LML I started to mess with tuning for the first time. I've slowly been making adjustments to pedal position, timing, pulse, desired boost, vane position, fuel pressure, and torque limit vs. RPM.
Tables that I've messed with
B0007
B2405
B0552
B1402
B0441
B0628
B0743
B0911
Most of my adjustments have been 5-15% increases and smoothing out edges.
Yesterday I did the following
Timing - Added 2 degrees of timing at 10mm3 - 1400rpms to 90mm3 - 3600rpms then smoothed out the transitions.
Pulse - 0.1mm3 - 30000kPa to 90mm3 - 210000 kPa increased by 10%
- 3.0mm3 - 50000kPa to 60mm3 - 210000 kPa increased by 10%
- smoothed out the edges
Torque limit vs. RPM
Stock Modified
RPM Torque RPM Torque
1200 624 1200 924
1400 832 1400 832
1550 985 1550 1033
1600 1030 1600 1133
1650 1026 1650 1129
1800 1010 1800 1111
2000 992 2000 1091
2200 976 2200 1045
2400 963 2400 994
2600 950 2600 950
I drove it home 35 minutes with no problem. When I got town to pick my kids up I accelerated a little harder, I didn't lay into it by no means but it all of a sudden slowed down and I got check engine light followed by 40mph top speed. When I got home the code was P0606 and I'm seeing it's a general ECM fault code.
I removed all the pulse adjustments I made, reduced torque limit back down to where it was before, removed 1 degree of timing.
Drove it this morning with no issues at all.
I wondering if the transmission slipped or if it was just a fluke.
Has this happened to anyone else?
