Coming home from golf this morning, I was doing 80mph in the second lane from the right and a dumbshit in a new Nissan in the fast lane decided she needed to be in the slow lane to catch the transition road. She stops on the freeway and then makes a right hand turn slowly in front of me and crosses 4 lanes and I locked them up.:eek: This truck has some awsome brakes.:thumb: All the traffic was behind me otherwise this would have been a disaster.

Mike, have you got under that thing to look at the brakes? The rear calipers on it are as big as the fronts on your old truck and the fronts are at least 50% bigger than the last model. The truck as a whole is truly impressive.

the awesome huge ass brakes combined with electronic stability control (stabilitrak) make these trucks some of the safest in the world as far as accident avoidance... :thumb:

They also went to a new front diff, atleast in the dually version, I am sure the 3/4 tons are different also. No more split case, they have a cover and removable pumpkin so no more removing the diff to fix them.

Yep, exactly...it looks like a "real" axle/diff now. :D
