Mike do you have any pics of these new alto G3's?

I helped Roy ( chief engineer at Alto ) design them. It was his idea for me to do this. I told him I was in. After I said this, I said holy shit. If I screw this up I will look stupid.
I then started calling all my gurus with engineering back rounds asking questions. I learned more about clutch design in a month than I had in the previous 40 years. We made a change in the clutch design after enitial testing and we wound up with a key hole design. It took one and a half years to do this.
The G3 is back into production ( haven't seen them in 6 months) Should be available soon.

I have seen my fair share of the alto carbonites shed but like you already mentioned they still held great just the clearances we're not where you would like them after some hard miles

Thanks for sharing that with us :thumb:

Hey Mike, will these new G3 clutches be available for the previous models?

They will fit all the 1000 models. You just have to be carefull setting the clearance. You also need the correct combination of steel plates. Clearance will be slightly different. Certain holes need to be drilled for quicker release and exhaust. Using my springs is important; especially the pressure regulator spring.

Can you please explain combination of plates?
