I have a 2006 with the LLY that is currently getting new injectors put in :-(
I was wondering about the differences between the LLY and LBZ.

If there is a 'sticky' that lists these differences, I'd like to see it. If bumping my LLY up to LBZ specs is 'easy', that would be cool. Truck is used for towing a 9k car trailer, which it does great (until the injector deal mentioned above - P0087 code). But a bump in hp and torque is always nice.

Thanks,
walt z.

Yup just flash a stock lbz base file in and wham bam magic happens and you now have an lbz:roflmao:
I've heard of some having the old style head gaskets and pushrods having the oiling holes when the lbz had solid ones.

And maybe the head gaskets.....LBZ after a certain build date are the newer ones.

Predecessors were prone to fail..

Be careful with power add-ons.
