I'm looking at getting my turbo rebuilt and the company I talked to said that the average turbo upgrade is to a 68mm but that seems excessive I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks the best all around size for a turbo upgrade is?

Thats a 3784 that everyone seems very happy with.
I think they are giving you good advice.

What do you do with the truck?
Fill out a sig with your mods.

I have efi live, egr delete n pcv reroute, both side intercooler pipes, head gaskets and studs, intake horn, 5in exhaust, cold air intake, lml manifold, lb7 up pipe, airdog 2 165gph, 3im down pipe. It won't let me fill out a sig for some reason. But that's most of the mods I have done I'm probably forgetting something.

No built trans yet. Looking into it in a couple months. It's my daily driver and when I have time I bring it to the track and race it. After everything I would like a 500-550 hp daily.

I had my stock turbo machined for the 68mm wheel that comes stock in the 4094's. I had my wheel sitting here from when I upgraded my 4094. But you can buy the wheel for about 60 bucks. I paid $210 for the Machining and balancing.

Might check out the Danville turbos, they have a very wide variety of chargers that will fit and exceed your goal while still driving as good as stock. I have ran several of their turbos over the years on all my trucks. I am currently running their 2.5 (63.5mm) stage 2 on my LLY and made 700/1250 at the tire with it.

If you upgraded the back side you could reach the 550 range as well.

I prefer to upgrade the rear half vs the compressor but a lot of other members don't seem to mind the higher drive pressure because it tows better.

That turbo is sexy. Where did u get the machine work done for it? I've looked at danville and there a little above my budget right now. The company I talked to is 1000$ shipped and any color I want.
