I can't find a definite answer on the gas pedal some threads say yes others say no.

If I do need it, I need to see If I can get it from the donor truck before it disappears...

I have the BT DieselWorks 2004.5-2005 LLY to LBZ conversion harness on order to simplify that part of it and reduce the risk of making a mistake.

Why do I keep doing this?

Moved to Repower/Transplant.

Replied to your PM about the swap. There also should be extensive info in this section somewhere about it. Or you could PM Russ (RPMmotorsports) about it.

You will need the lbz pedal along with the pedal harness. 2 different pieces.

Your lly pedal with the lly pedal harness will plug in, but not work.

Thank you!

I know it was needed on the LB7 equpied vehicles Just wasn't sure on the LLY equipped.

He should still have it so I will try and meet up with him and grab it.

Hoping to get a few more pieces from him that I will need.

Here are the PN if you end up needing to purchase them,

15233970 pedal
15233968 harness

That one I’m not 100% certain. You may be able to modify your old bracket but if you can’t that LBZ shouldn’t be too expensive.

I got a converted LB7-lbz truck at my shop right now, I’ll look at it in the am and see what it’s got.

You will need the LBZ bracket for the pedal. The LLY doesn't have a bracket per se, whereas the LBZ pedal mounts to a stamped steel bracket that bolts up to the same bolt points as the original pedal.

:thumb: ^^^ don’t forget the bracket between the petal and floor.., you need it! Make sure you get the black plastic CAC piece on the EGR horn with the acordian boot..., makes life easier adapting to the LLY IC:hug:

You only need the EGR side and the acordian boot. Use the stock LLY/LB7 boot on the IC, then cut a 3.5”L piece of 3” SS tube and bead roll the ends. Use this piece between the IC boot and acordian boot.
