I have an LLY SC V with 6 speed ug. I want to throw it in my 07 classic Do I need to change valve body or did SC just use the 6 speed valve body for their UG. I called them and left a message but Id like to proceed asap.

NSBU is in a different location on the 5spd vs 6sp as well as a different selector shaft.
change it all. you will be running a different TCM to pair with the LBZ ECM and IIRC, the current tcm you are running will not work well with the LBZ ecm (if at all).
i may be wrong on it but i dont think so. the TCM you have now has segments from a 6 speed tcm converted over to then work in the older TCM and linked all together. So you are still on old base tech for the year of the truck so to speak

5 speed TCM's don't like 6 speed solenoids and vice versa. They can work, but not as they should.
No No Im going to use my 6 speed tcm in my 07 LBZ I just want to know what in the trans will cross over from the lly with a six speed upgrade.

I think I have a and actual 6 speed VB and the linkage out back. Ill just put a Shift kit in it. The plan is to steal the trans coupled with the spare LBZ eng i have and put them into my duraburb and pull out the twin turbo setup. Emissions laws changed so its not gonna fly here. If I get caught smoking and sent to reff Im F'd They strip my emissions lic from my business and me..
I can however move the twin turbo LBZ/LMM into the 71 pickup I had on the back burner Soooo 1k hp 71 crewcab? LOL

I was going TT but now Im rethinking an LT4 Supercharged due to I want to run it on track days. I have the 6.0 out of the suburban I am upping compression and Lq4 heads with a big lump stick. Twin disck clutch on the shelf with a T56 Viper 6 speed.
