Be sure to bag the parts and where they go. Also take lots of pictures of the fuel line hold-downs/insulators, and how they are positioned. It will help a lot when you go back together.
removed some stuff to today and i was wondering if the dampener bolt
"36 mm" is supose to have thread locker on it? it looked/smelled like it had some on it just wondering if it needs it and if so what kind?
When I pulled the balancer off my 03, it looked that way....it had greenish-blue residue on it. When I pulled the balancer off my 05, the threads were clean. Not sure if it was supposed to have anything or not, but everytime I've reinstalled one, I didn't use anything. Just torque it back ~280ft/lb,call it good.
