My truck keeps throwing a p1093 code.
I had to replace my head gaskets.
Put in ARP studs, new gaskets, changed the intake to an Lbz, added a shim to the fuel rail.

Ever since it has been popping the code. P1093

I replaced the the injector pump, the regulator, the lines. I am still getting the code.

The rest of the engine is stock.

Most of the lily that I have worked need either a race plug in the fuel rail or shim the fprv. If you already shimmed it and it started giving you problems after that I would focus on the fprv not sealing right.

I had that code before and decided to go with a lbz fprv instead of the shim or race plug. It will hold rail pressure to about 27000 psi or so I believe but still safe. Code went away and truck runs fine now

Low pressure during power enrichment. Only 3 things cause this code. One is more common on an lb7 which is the injectors bad, other 2 are fprv other is cp3. I would look at the fprv iv personally had them screw up when shimming. Make sure that booger is tight. If not try another one.

Also. Make sure your fuel is all diesel and no gas mixed in. Seen that cause it too

Anyone know the part # for LBZ fprv?
