well that should make the owners day. I have been sprayed by a rad cap before burned me up good and I went slow... Are these overflows any safer to open? Cnt I just crack overflow tank and see if there is bubbes while engine is running? The top hose was soft this morning, maybe it had bled off?

So the question is.... The owner will fix and then keep the same deal it sounds like. Hes a good dude and i feel bad for him. But should i still buy it? He is getting his guy lined up to arp stud it and grade c gaskets. It is a nice truck, it has seem rust under the front doors , typical, airdog, s475 over stock, ricks y pipe and charge pipe, battery relocated to frame. Airbags on rear, wireless controller, glow shift boost for top and bottom turbos, cts. It has some quirks but all of it is simple.

I've never ran his tunes but alot of people around kansas city area seam to like his tunes. You'll see pickups that have stickers in the window saying "Tuned by Timmy" or something like that.

I'm talked to more than one person that has ran his tunes or taken an engine apart that had his tunes and it wasn't good.

I hope you get all these problems figured out Jordan. It sounds like a nice pickup.

If it has those tunes I would ditch them immediately. I can tell you from first hand experience they are complete garbage.

If he's willing to fix and fix it right he sounds like it stand up guy. If the price is right I wouldn't be scared. Atleast will you know the heads are good.

Sounds like AJ was spot on.

My underhood temps went up noticeably with twins but never that hot. If he is fixing the gaskets and putting in studs, if it was a good deal before i don't know why it wouldn't be as good or better IMO now. I say get it.

If it were me I'd do the gaskets and studs myself and subtract parts and labor cost from the price that is if you have to have this truck.

The owner of the truck is friend with Tim, that's fine, tim did the twinning also I believe. The truck is nice. Sounds like a member here named yellow jacket is gonna do the hg and studs, I have seen his 3.0 pull in the past I still like the truck... Thanks for the input all

I actually bought the twins from a member aand had them installed locally by a shop that does a ton of my work and a local welder redid a section of the piping to make it a good bit nicer. Tim never had a chance to drive the truck to dial it in to be fair. The truck will be made as near perfect as possible and we'll try this again! I don't want to sell anyone a problem!
