Just don't call them a "CHIP" and all will be well. What tuner you want depends on how much power you want and what you want your truck to do. Seein as you came to a raceing site I am kinda bettin you want to haul ass I would go with PPE or EFI the 2 best tuners IMO.

ok thanks for the info, i tried a superchips programmer today and it didnt seem to help at all, i couldnt tell the difference from stock.
i gutted the catalyst already, read that the stock intake tube from the turbo is the problem?? thought about reaming it out myself?? any suggestions??

The LLY mouth piece is a big problem, you can ream it yourself or get with killerbee and get one of his units. Superchips is not well never mind... lets just say I don't like them.:toilet_claw:
First the only tuning I would recommend is EFI Live. You can never outgrow it and the possibilities with it are endless. You can delete any codes you need to, eliminate the need for any boost sticks, EGR fooler sticks or any of that other stuff.
The LLY turbo inlet is very restrictive and IMO the best solution is to get one from an LBZ and then either modify an LLY intake or use an LBZ intake system with it.

well i bought the finger stick with the egr blocker and its supposed to cure the SES light and codes, rite??
were would i get one off a LBZ?? and i would like to get efi live just cant afford it rite now, how much could i get efi live for any way??
799 bucks and EFI is in your hand, there are some very good vendors here that can help you out with all of your needs.
Check local junk yards and ebay for LBZ mouth pieces.

They actually went up $50. But you can look at it this way, It will eliminate using a boost stick, fingerstick, can tune 2 different trucks right out of the box, you can add a 2 or 5 position switch to change tunes on the fly for your LLY. And you can datalog and use it as a tool to diagnose a problem if any. I know I'm leaving some things out but it has a lot of abilities.
