Does anybody know of a good write up, book, video, etc. for reassembly after installing headgaskets? I had no issues getting the heads on and torqued and setting the valve lash and installing the valve covers but now that I am at all the small stuff like wire harnesses and fuel lines I have realized I didnt take nearly enough pictures before hand. I can get the job done but I would really like to have something better to go by if it's out there. Thanks

Throw the harness over the motor and use your head, I took 50+ pics but once the harness is across the motor it’ll come easier. Just make sure you have the oil level sensor ran to the top of the motor before you put the power steering and ac bracket on, the wire runs behind it. Other than that it’s pretty straight forward. And run the body harness across the frame before putting the cooling stack back in.

If this helps. Here's some pics taken as we tore down an lly last week. As stated above it's not hard. Wires kind of lay back in original spots. Lines should be easy.

I have replaced all the rubber fuel lines I just bought a big roll of line and replaced them as I go, good or bad they looked dry rotted and I wasnt going through all that work to have a fuel leak later on.

TX of course
You might want to get those small collage hoses too. The one next to the oil fill tube got me on the first drive.

If it would've changed "hoses" to "houses" too, you'd have been very confuzzled. :hehe:
