Lly egr delete?

Ok I currently have the egr block off plate and I'm only throwing two "soft" codes (no check engine light) for egr air flow etc.

If I throw a delete kit on will I then throw a "hard code " (check engine light on) with out tunning to support it?

Sub'd for my LBZ. I'd like to block my EGR but don't want to make the jump to EFI just yet and am not comfortable with a fingers stick. Wondering what happens if I don't tune the EGR out and just block it.

Is it just the light that comes on or does it cause other problems to block the egr without tuning it out?

I get performance limiting codes I have to clear them right away to restore te power. Get them every start up

Shouldn't be, it was a Midwest truck it's whole life but might have that ECM, think I could re flash a stock tune into it at work? I work for gm
