I bought this truck earlier this week. 05 lly twins, trans, lift pump, ect. i've noticed when I come to a stop my truck raises rpms by like 50-100 rpms then settles back like it was before it does this. Then if you let off the brake and roll faster then 1 mph and hit the brakes it will do it again and evverytime you do it. If I put my switch to the default tune it wont do it. It does on the other 4 settings. It's enough to bug me. I looked at the tables in idle and fuel pressure graphs and everything looks fine and nothing abnormal. I belive it has something to do with the dsp5. My os I'm runnning is 05160005. I did check to make sure the switch is working in my drive way with the scan tool by logging it and noticed that the voltage will go from where it needs to be on #2 setting then bounce to the default setting as the voltage goes out of range. It did this about every three or four seconds. Just wondering if my os isnt working properly or something or if the wires going into the ecm arent making good contact. Can't find where anyone else has had this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and the DSP5 was installed prior to the twins so I have no idea if it did this before. Thanks!

I had an idle issue awhile ago with our '02 LB7 DSP5...B0703 & B1201 were the cause...Maybe double-check those:dontknow:
It opens fine if saved to desktop first.
BTW, the rpm bump happens in all your tunes, base tune included. It looks to be a refinement setting to me, embedded in your idle definitions in the main tune.
Perhaps B0754, b0939, or more likely B1023.

I had some odd issues with my friends LLY when I put a DSP5 switch in it. I switched it to the operating system your using and it fixed the issue. Maybe try some different operating systems and see if any of them work.
I'm having an issue with a buddy's lb7 also it will swithc but only Rev to 1100 on everything bu the stock tune its 15189044 os I've never done a dsp 5 so no sure what it could be? Sorry to Jack the thread if I do
I had something similar happen with my truck but it turned out I just screwed something up in the tune. Went through it one table at a time and fixed it.
I tried another os and it does the same thing. Only two spots it wont do it on the switch is either all the way to the right or all the way to the left. I've checked and double checked everything and can't find the issue. I think I'm going to reflash it so the two tnes I use will be the spots not effected. It's not a huge deal I'm just anal when things don't work right lol.
Don't worry about hy-jacking this thread with other dsp questions/problems. My lb7 with the dsp5 would make the balance rates change when switching the tunes while logging. No other problems with that model I exsperienced.

this one will not let it go over 1100 rpm in progrmas 1-4 only stock works an it throws pcm codes????? reflashed him in a single tune evrything works fine? his os went from (stock)15189044 to (dsp5 ) 03904405?? is this right it looks right from the pdf on efi lives website?
steve do you think you could look at it an see if something got messed up took me a coupole tries to figure out hoe to flash it in right lol but it switchs but no power??

when you ran the script to fill all the "out of calibration"s did you did you run the right script?

Not sure I didnt build it Mike s did he has done a few so I dunno how would I check sorry kinda new at this dsp5 stuff
