I have a 05 lly mods in signature. About a week ago I had a caliper hang up on the rear, so I replaced it and when out around the block for a quick test drive to make sure all was good. After the motor was up to temp made a few aggressive pulls on the engine and then pulled back into the house and did a quick walk around to make sure all was good, got to the passenger side front tire and got a good wiff of coolant which smelt like was coming from coolant tank. I searched over the entire motor and hoses to see if I had a visible coolant leak and found nothing. Then last Sunday cruised do to local motorcycle dealer and while getting onto the freeway hammered down to get with traffic this time the coolant smell was very noticeable threw the a/c vents. so once I got to the dealer checked under hood again and still found nothing. I have since replaced the cap and now no smell of coolant after making any types of pulls on the road but I don't know if it's just in my head but upper hose feels stiffer than normal (not rock hard) but dunno if that's normal because who knows how long that cap was bad if it was. Or if I actually have a head gasket problem. So far I don't seem to be loosing any coolant out of tank, no visible external leaks, no smoke or smell from exhaust, no bubbles in tank while trucks running either... thanks in advance for taking the time to read this and for any responses
