Haven't been posting a lot about it but been asked a lot on what's going on with my broke crank engine. Well it has been a long couple months waiting but hopefully it will be back up and running in the next 2 weeks.
Crank broke between #1main and #1 rod journal. Didn't hurt much, but we align honed the mains again for safe keeping. All the rods were fine other than #1  pon bushing were bad from lack of oil. Ended up having 4 of my LB7 pistons skirts cracked.
Now the good, got a used LBZ crank and it checked out good. Got a new ATI balancer and BD flex plate with ARP bolts. Went with a SoCal 3388AF cam. Picked up a set of Fingers 16.5:1 pistons to replace the junkers with.
Going to trade the 4094avnt out for one of Marks new VGT turbos to aid in better spool time and better exhaust brake function.
Hopefully I have a good, solid, and reliable engine back in it soon. These past couple of months have been killing me without the truck.
